Type Locality and Naming

This is the upper formation in Bartang Gr.

Synonym: Razuchoye Suite, разучская свита

Lithology and Thickness

The upper, Razuchoye Fm (разучская свита), is composed at the base of varicolored marls and calcareous clayey siltstones, which are replaced upwards in the section by gravels and conglomerates with a large number of pebbles of the Raumid Fm, Shuvdarin Fm, and Bardarin Fm (Carboniferous - Triassic?). The thickness is more than 500 m.
